![]() During its peak in membership, it had twenty-one members until founding member Daisy Keech left in March 2020, citing internal disputes with other members as the reason for her departure. Most of its funding for creation came from Daisy Keech, Chase Hudson and Thomas Petrou, Alex Warren, Dixie D'Amelio, and Addison Rae. The collective formed in December 2019, and includes around twenty rising or established Gen Z influencers from TikTok. The membership of the collaborative has also evolved over time. The Hype House location has changed twice the collaborative originally used a series of two different houses in Los Angeles proper before moving to their current house in Moorpark. It has a palatial backyard, pool, outdoor gym, jacuzzi and a large kitchen and dining quarters. ![]() The house itself is a Spanish-style mansion perched at the top of a gated street. It is a collaborative content creation house, allowing the different influencers and content creators to make videos together easily. Excited for the potential to keep working with them since I have a love for fashion and clothes.The Hype House is a collective of teenage TikTok personalities based in Moorpark, California, as well as the name of the mansion where some of the creators live. I have always been a big fan of their brand so being able to work with them was awesome, especially since their brand team was so welcoming. Recently I did a collaboration with H&M where I visited one of their flagship stores to get styled, fitted, and gifted different outfits. What is your favorite collab you’ve ever done? I read through my DM’s and people type out the impact I have on their life, that is special to me. Fans are so excited when I respond back, it can literally make someone’s day. ![]() Realizing how people want to take time out of their day to engage with my social media is insane. Not to sound superficial, but the best part is totally the impact you can make on a person. What is the best part of being a digital creator? That is still something I might explore doing if I can find a way to transition my audience over to another platform like Twitch. Growing up I always wanted to be a Twitch Streamer and sign to a gaming organization. If you weren’t doing TikTok, what do you think you would be doing? In Atlanta, I could connect with people digitally, but definitely is not the same experience as living in LA where I can connect with other creators and brands in person on a regular basis which is super important for growth. What was it like moving from Atlanta to Los Angeles?įor me, the switch was not necessarily easy since I came from the other side of the country, but being in LA has opened me to so many new opportunities. That is when I realized that I had a chance to develop a following as my follower count went up over 20,000 in a single day. I woke up the next day and it had over 1M views. I actually remember this super well – was in class my Junior Year around the time Charli D’Amelio was blowing up and my friend told me to do a popular trend. Luckily with TikTok, there was finally a platform where I could easily get started and did not have to play catch up to established creators.ĭo you remember the first time you went viral? I grew up in a generation where developing a fanbase was easier than ever and I really wanted that to be me. Growing up, I was always into the idea of having a following as I watched creators on Twitch, YouTube and Vine develop some large audiences. What made you first start posting on social media? What makes these trends so viral and recognizable? The young creators with millions of followers are to thank for that! We followed up with Bryce Parker, a TikTok content creator with millions of followers, as he is always doing his rendition of viral hits on our For You Page!
